Lebendige Geschichte

Das Gebäude, in dem sich die Eventlocation HomeBase Lounge am Potsdamer Platz befindet, wurde 1912 von der Firma Buderus als Hausbank erbaut und steht heute unter Denkmalschutz. Zusammen mit dem Weinhaus Huth und dem ehemaligen Grandhotel Esplanade ist es das letzte historische Gebäude am Potsdamer Platz. Vom Wohlstand der Bauherren erzählt die rote Backsteinfassade des Hauses, das erst zu Mauerzeiten in eine Randlage geriet. In den 50er Jahren wurden die Kriegsschäden behoben und der ehemalige Kassenraum im Stil der Zeit renoviert.Die Eventlocation HomeBase Lounge am Potsdamer Platz befindet sich in der ehemaligen Bankschalterhalle des Gebäudes und sorgt seit dem Jahre 2004 mit ihren Veranstaltungen für glanzvolle Abende in der früheren Buderus Bank.
